weControl: a leading company in flight control solutions

Our Mission

weControl develops and markets flight control solutions to increase their level of autonomy of for rotary- and fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles by combining modern system theory, sensor technologies and state of the art embedded computing.

Our Objectives

weControl strives for a leading role as an OEM provider of autopilot systems for the world-wide civil and defense UAV market. Our primary clientele includes manufacturers of UAV's for professional civilian and military applications, research organizations, government procurement agencies, and manufacturers of remote-controlled helicopters and airplanes for flight services like aerial photography, video, and filming. weControl provides engineering services for inertial navigation applications and flight controller analysis and synthesis. Furthermore, weControl aims to build up strategic partnerships with synergetic impact for development and sale.

Our Strengths

The engineers at weControl have many years of experience in the field of flight control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. Although for a long time focused on rotary-wing aircraft flight control, recent and on-going activities involving flight control systems for fixed-wing UAV's in versatile environments ranging from small, agile, and highly robust surveillance UAV, to target drones, and to aerobatic-maneuver research aircraft have extended our expertise into this field.

Our strengths are based on :

  • In-depth knowledge of system theory, in particular modeling and simulation, sensor data fusion, state estimation, system identification, and robust controller design methodologies,
  • Expert know-how and many years of experience in electronics and embedded system design, in particular by using low-power, high performance computers and FPGA implementations,
  • Real-time software programming, comprising the use of our own compiler and operating system,
  • Solution-oriented, interdisciplinary thinking by combining knowledge and experience in electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineering.

weControl is a subsidiary of SURVEY Copter group.
